  Lands End is a great place to stay. It is nearby anything anybody could want, but is secluded. Sitting on the patio drrinking coffee and watching the dolphins swim by was very relaxing. We had restaurants recommended to us and ate at none of them. However, every place we ate had very good food. The beach has a gentle slope and is ideal for children to swim in. Get a gulf view and not a inland view as there are two clubs on the other side of the inland water that are quite noisy at night. On the gulf side you do not hear the clubs. We would go back there.

  Family of 6 spent 7 wonderful days at this property and did not find anything wrong. Inside, outside, beach, pool, grounds, etc. are all maintained very well. Only surprise was a low clearance garage and we had to remove a roof rack from our van before
  we could park. Would consider renting again if we return to the same area.

  Its a great location and the unit was fine. Some minimal maintenance issues--sliding doors and blinds didn't work well and there was a missing screen. Kitchen is well stocked which we like a lot. The main problem was very minimal hot water for showers. I ALWAYS ran out of hot water before exiting the shower, and these were not long showers. I think they may need to replace the water heater. If they did, I would be happy to stay there again because of the other pluses.

  If you like a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place. Not really for teens as there is not a lot to do. We had a walk to the pool, but it was worth it.

  We've been coming to Land's End on Treasure Island at least once a year for more than ten years. The location is perfect for what we're looking for - fishing & beach. Resort Rentals (Janet) has always been extremely helpful. I'm sure we'll continue to visit in the furure.

  We had 2 condos side by side with 5 children. Everything worked out great. The beach was so close we didn't have to worry about the kids and traffic, nice boardwalk and pool. We were close enough to either Tampa or St. Pete to enjoy more activties. I will definitely go back.

  Overall this is an excellent place for a nice quiet vacation in a very populated area.
  it missed my total 5 star because:
  1. Only two glass wine glasses.
  2. The bed blanket, though very clean was a little shabby.
  3. Only 4 cups and saucers available, though there was plenty of other dishes.
  4. a couple of beach chairs would have been nice
