Our family of four very much enjoyed our trip to the octopus cottages. The pool area was very clean and the other guests were so kind to my children. The privacy and the parking lot was excellent for games and dining outside. The mad beach Cantina around the corner was fantastic and within walking distance. The cottage was safe and had everything we needed. We hope to return in the summer!

This was my second stay at this location, same cottage. I will definitely be back in the future! Always clean, well stocked and super convenient to the beach! Nothing!

We were looking for a short getaway after a wedding we attended in Orlando that wouldn’t break the bank. This place had what we needed at a great price. Close to the areas we love to visit and right across from the beach. It says no beach gear provided but I saw some in the laundry room that I wish I would have noticed sooner. I’m guessing things people have left behind. Pool was refreshing and the general vibe was quiet and comfortable. Thanks!

The communication from the agency was prompt and informative. I dont think I had a single question! I loved that it was less than a block from the beach and still so quiet! All the small appliances were convenient to have. Neighbors were super fun and having the pool as well as the beach was great. Lots of stuff to do and see within walking distance. I got a mad sunburn but that was my own fault ?

Great Location! Our family loved how close it was to the beach. We felt very safe and St. John's pass was also very conveniently located.

Our stay was great.. the cottage is pretty good for a couple, as you barely stay in, most of the days at the beach and swimming pool..
the only thing I think that they could provide chair and umbrella for the beach, but we were able to rent it, so issue solved.
All the rest was great experience

This place was amazing! Quiet and relaxing while being within walking distance to the beach, as well as John’s pass where all the action was. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Beautiful place. I do prefer a air bnb ran by its own owner though for easier communication. Our door wouldn’t lock and my daughter left her phone in the rental and we still have received no response on it even though we noticed about 2 hours after check out while still in town.

My best friend and I rented the octopus cottage for a quick girls trip and it was everything we could have asked for. The cottage itself was extremely clean and the started kit included all necessary toiletries. The pool was perfect; there were many seats around the pool, the temperature of the pool was perfect. The pool felt like a private oasis. We would highly recommend this cottage!

The facility was clean and well kept. The unit itself had everything you could ever need in such a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were amazing. The airconditioner worked well and could freeze you out. There is free laundry on sight, which was very convenient. The pool was small but very accommodating for the number of people that stayed at the facility. Nice neighborhood and good places to take your pet for a walk. Lots of spots along the waterway to sit and watch. Its off the main highway, therefore the traffic doesn't bother you from the boulevard. We had a little trouble with the TV and it was superbowl weekend. Being from Missouri we were a little disappointed to have to watch on our phones. However, early Monday morning Rachel came and fixed us up.

My hubby and I needed to be alone for a getaway and this proved to be such a nice place to do just that. Location is great, especially if you prefer to walk, which we do. It was clean and we felt safe. The pool was small but private, and the beach right across the street was clean and not crowded at all. The only thing we wished we had was a dresser so we could unpack instead of live out of our suitcases, but everything else was so nice we saw past it. Would recommend!

Super dog friendly. Easy to take your dog in and out without disrupting others. Places to walk. We stay in Maderia Beach multiple times a year but first time at the cottages. Would definitely go back! Only thing missing in our cottage was a dresser or more storage for clothing. Other than that it was ideal for us.

The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. The best part was our dog was able to come and stay here. The location is perfect. The management made sure we had everything we needed. Walking distance to most every thing. Beach is a short walk. Already planning another trip and will definitely stay here.

Cottage was clean, cute in a good location. My 4 year old loved the little pool. Cottage was very small for 3 people but I would definitely go back and rent a bigger one.

My husband and I made a last minute trip down from VA. I used to always take family vacations in the area so I was excited to find a home close walking distance to both the house and John's pass. Since there are 7 houses we can't wait to talk our friends and family to taking a stay back here with us!

The Octopus Cottage (#4) was nicely remodeled, clean, convenient to John's Pass and across the street from a beach entrance and is pet friendly. All was as advertised and we had no issues with the facility.

It was located in a great location and convenient to lots of activities. Please add a full length mirror.

We loved this stay. It was such a great location, across the street from the beach and a very short walk from the boardwalk that had fun shops, restaurants, and bars. The cottages create a fun little community with the other guests staying. We had some fun evenings in the pool making friends. We very much enjoyed and look forward to staying again.

This was my second visit to The Cottages at Madeira Beach. The location is fantastic. It's close to the pristine beach and a quick walk to shops and restaurants at John's Pass. The pool area is lovely with new chairs since my last visit. It was great to have a washer and dryer on site as well as beach chairs and beach toys.A number of the cottages have been updated in the last two years. This place is a gem!

Enjoyed Christmas and the week after with my wife and pups! DeSoto dog beach was wonderful. Took the pups to dinner with us almost every night except one. Great outdoor dining! Would love to come back!

This was my second year at The Cottages. My two dogs and I love it and plan to return next year. Location is close to the beach and John's Pass. The Cottages are clean, very quiet, and private. The management company is nice and easy to work with.
