Madeira Vista 201

We stayed in this unit in 2023 and left a review. They did add a pull out couch to the unit so I was thankful for that as our teenage son had a bed this year. Pros-great location to some restaurants and of course the great beach. Unit was big and clean. Cons-The condo complex itself needs some serious updating. One elevator did not work for most of our stay so it was very inconvenient as the complex was full with lots of people. Our stove quit working on the 3rd day which prevented us from being able to cook food we bought. We had to throw a lot of that away when we left which is pretty disappointing. 3 beach towels for the entire condo. I had to buy beach towels and left them there as I didn't have room in my suitcase to bring them home. The master bedroom needs shades on the windows to block out light. The headlights from cars from the parking lot and the sun coming in the morning doesn't allow for you to sleep in. It's SO bright. We did enjoy our time.

This condo is in a great location and the beach access it excellent. We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed in a few areas. Upon arrival we found the unit wasn't thoroughly cleaned, like dirty spots on the countertop and stovetop and dust/hair in the corners and along the baseboards. The closets in the master bedroom were unusable as they were full of beach items (chairs, tent, toys), remodeling supplies, and pictures. Could only have a few pieces of clothes up. The shower curtains had rust stains in the bathrooms. Also, the state of the pots and pans were really not acceptable. The non-stick surfaces were deeply scratched to the point of the coating coming off and pots had not been properly cleaned (black stains that had to be scrubbed off). Things to don't expect for a nearly $5k a week condo. We got things cleaned up and bought a new skillet so it wasn't the end of the world and didn't ruin our week. I guess we just expected more for the price we paid. Sure, we could have reached out immediately to the rental company when we arrived, but our vacation had started and who wants to be intruded upon by a cleaning crew when you are trying to settle in for the week. On a positive note, the furniture was nice and the beds were comfortable.

Great location with easy access to the beach. The views from the condo were wonderful. We saw dolphins multiple times! Easy walking to multiple restaurants, a real plus.

We stayed in unit 201, I have to say one of the most amazing views by far from any of the condos I have stayed at in the area from St. Pete to Clearwater area! You can watch the sunset and sunrise from the comfort of the living room, while feeling the ocean breeze! The 2 side windows along the huge picture window open so you can hear and feel the breeze because the beach is literally a few steps from the front of the building! This unit was very large and spacious, with a beautiful full kitchen with everything you could need to stay in when you don't feel like going out to eat. Also equipped with large dining table for your whole family to sit and eat together! This unit is 2 bedrooms each having a king size bed and large closets with TV's as well. The master bedroom has it's own full bathroom with walk in shower. Their is a main bathroom next to the 2nd bedroom but accessible to all. The main bathroom had a tub if you would like to soak after a day at the beach and have a glass of wine! Their is a laundry room within this unit with full size washer and dryer for your convenience as well, which after a day at the beach is very convenient. There were plenty of beach chairs in the closets, along with umbrella's, and beach canopy. Also, plenty of additional bath towels, beach towels and bedding in the closets if needed. One thing I found to be very helpful is that each bedroom closet had a plug in fan if needed for those that like to have the sound of a fan to go to sleep at night. This location has a nice heated pool and several nice grilling stations that you can grill and watch the sunset at the same time. It also provided some very well made picnic tables around the grills that were covered by the overhead, so if you have a rainy day you can still enjoy a nice grilled steak while still being outside. The location is great you can walk half a block to the Winn Dixie for your groceries which is next to the CVS for any medications you may have forgotten at home. For those of you that want a convenient quick bite to eat and some cocktails, you can walk across the street to the Daiquiri Shack or the Lazy Lizard. If your up for some fun and live music there is also the Saltwater Hippy a half a block away as well. In the plaza directly across the street there is also a 7 Eleven, Italian restaurant, ice cream, and sushi near by! This is by far a win/win all the way around the whole package whether for a long weekend or a month get away, I highly recommend the unit we stayed in 201 and this location! We caught an Uber or beach taxi when we wanted to travel to any remote locations very easily :-)

We had the best beach trip, to date, while staying at Madiera Vista, Unit 201. Our condo had such a beautiful view and it was very clean. We loved how family-oriented the condo was, and we felt very comfortable during our entire stay. It was so nice to just be able to walk right down to the beach and settle in, and we loved how the condo had its own beach area. The location is so close to such great food too, and just a short drive to Tampa. I can't wait to book my next stay!

That is great you felt the complex was family oriented to make for an enjoyable stay. The location lent to restaurants in walking distance and Tampa was just a short drive. This condo is just steps to the beach. My husband has mobility issues so it was a perfect location for us. Also, just across the street from a great daiquiri place. Condo looks to be recently renovated-modern bathrooms -very clean and comfortable. One dedicated parking spot jeeps parking simple. Highly recommend!
