Sunset Chateau 511

Le logement a une belle vue. L’hôte est très proactif et répond rapidement en cas de besoin. Nous avons toutefois trouvé le condo très bruyant. C’est un vieil édifice et nous entendions énormément les individus au niveau supérieur, ce qui n’est pas agréable lorsque nous essayions de dormir. Nous avons trouvé que la literie n’était pas la meilleure. La douche devrait être réparée car une quantité d’eau coule sans arrêt malgré les robinets fermés.

Great location, beachfront! Clean and as advertised. We had a lot of fun visiting the area and surrounding. Perfect for a small family or couples/singles getaway. Very quiet neighborhood and the beach was not crowded whatsoever.

What a wonderful location for a well over do vacation. The gulf is right out your door. No driving which we loved & the sunsets you can sit right outside your condo & watch it. Spectacular views!!!

Excellent location ! Right on the beach with beautiful sunset views ! The condo was clean and beautiful , perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing beach stay . Great location to restaurants as well

Let me just say that the location of this rental is just as advertised. Not across the street, or two blocks away like some listings that claim to be beachfront, but it’s BEACHFRONT. Amazing view of the gulf when waking up and walking into the living room in the morning. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and I made sure to stand long enough outside to engrave it in my memory.

This unit was spotless and clean when we arrived and there was staff keeping the hallways and common ways clean the entire trip. Very impressed with how clean and sanitary everything was while there for the week.

We also enjoyed how close everything was. We had a rental car for the first half of our trip and nothing was far away. We recommend TacoBus, Sea Dog Brewing, caddy’s, brass monkey, The Drunken Clam, and a few more I can’t think of while typing. Location of this rental is prime.

The beach itself was not crowded at all and extremely peaceful the entire time. We’re not sure if the chateau or the city takes care of the beach, but we do wish they would have dragged (or plowed) the beach to allow for that soft white sand to show itself! But nonetheless we enjoyed every minute of the beach.

As for the rental, it’s was updated, modern and clean. The TVs could use a little updating to provide those with Netflix style accounts to stream when staying in for the night or during bad weather. The Toilet in the bathroom was more than adequate for after those taco and tequila filled Tuesday nights.

Remember to bring change for the washer and dryer as the unit does not have one itself, but the community one isn’t far at all. I felt it was a little pricey for the size of the machines, but they did do the job. I did suggest that they install a change machine, as I had to go to a laundromat in town and get change. We also wish there was a heads up of the ongoing construction updates to some of the units. We tried to sleep in a couple mornings or take afternoon naps, but the sound of drills and hammers made it impossible.

Overall, fantastic experience! We are very thankful and appreciative we located this location and would recommend it to anyone. The owners of the unit have done a great job with it, and we hope to return very soon. Thanks for allowing us to utilize this for a week!

Had a wonderful time at the Sunset Chateau. View was amazing and sunsets were beautiful. Condo 512 is well equipped and nicely decorated. My only complaint is the parking. Although there were more than 2 dozen parking spots available , use of the guest parking pass was prohibited over the July 4th weekend. It would be nice if the property could try to be more accommodating to its guests.

We apologize if you were inconvenienced with the parking situation during the holiday, however, the building management sets rules during the holidays to limited the parking due to the public using the parking. We hope you relaxed and had beach time, and will join us again for a future stay.

Lovely location. Very well equipped property .Host very helpful supplying tea kettle when asked whether there was one available. No negatives hope to return
