My family wanted a stay ON the beach! We got just that! Location was perfect! Although not a private beach, it was like a private beach. Walk right out to the beach and set up our things from sunrise to sunsets- PERFECT!! The property was clean and comfy. We will be staying here again for our next Florida trip.

We’ve been coming to Redington Shores for about 5 years now. This place was by far our favorite! Right on the beach and the perfect size for our family of 5. The balcony view was breath taking. We will definitely be coming back here.

Place was great! Sheets were not soft-I would suggest bringing your own. You have to drive to the realty office to get the keys to the place (about 20 minutes) and you have to return them by 10am for checkout. It would be much more convenient to have a digital lock or lockbox on site. Overall it was a great stay.

We found the home to be very beautiful, comforting and in a great location on the beach. I do believe that it would be easier if you had a key pick up lockbox on site of the property to pick up and drop off. It is a pain in the rear to have to drive all the way and find the place to pick keys up especially when you arrive after hours in the dark and do not know the area. Otherwise it was beautiful and we had a great time, thank you.

I loved how close to the beach this house is. Just steps away! Very clean, quiet, perfect for my my 5 children, husband and myself. The pool is great, loved that we could grill outside. I have zero complaints. We absolutely loved this place.

Beautiful view and clean property. We really enjoyed our stay. Only thing we didn’t like was having to drive to the office to pick up keys and having to drive to the office to return keys.

Condo needs a little updating and a thorough cleaning.
We don’t rent a car so it was very inconvenient to pick up and drop off keys. The washer had a leak and our ice maker didn’t work. The outside was broken and a gas grill would’ve been better
The couch and chair in living room needs replaced along with the outdoor furniture cushions. We did not have top sheets in the twin bedroom.
I would still highly recommend this property and would definitely come back!!

This Villa was perfect for our little family of 5. It’s right off the beach and has a great pool. The view from our Unit was definitely a million dollar view. It far exceeded our expectations and will definitely be going back. Loved it!

This view and location can't be beat. We saw manatees and dolphins from the balcony while having our morning coffee.

There were adequate pots and pans for our stay though a lot of mix matched storage items.

The furniture, surfaces and floors could use a deeper clean between guests. The couch cushions are in need of a deep clean. Be warned, the flood light outside the primary bedroom goes on and off all night.

Check in and out is challenging with the office located about 20 minutes south of the condo.

I would stay here again even with my criticisms!

My family and I stayed here for our vacation. The views are amazing! The pool was perfect for our children, esp our younger ones. The white sandy beach is just steps away! We enjoyed our morning coffee from our balcony. So relaxing and peaceful! We will definitely be back!

Loved this property- right on the beach , amazing sunsets, updated, clean. Would stay again. One suggestion - master bedroom needs blackout curtains!!!! The room is on the east side. When sun is out it’s bright and sunny and impossible to sleep in.

First off, under general amenities it was listed that there is an elevator. There is no elevator which wasn't an issue with our family but if a family with someone in a wheelchair was expecting an elevator they would have a major issue since all the units are on the second and third floors. We were looking for a condo to rent that didn't seem like an apartment complex, one that in order to get to the beach or pool you need to go out the front door through a hallway, down an elevator, through a lobby and out the back door of the building. Since we live so close my wife and I did a little recon and checked it out in person. We loved the fact that you can walk down the steps from your balcony to get to the pool and beach. We spoke to a lady that was staying there and the only negative she had to say was concerning the cooking utensils and dishes.

The place was very clean and great to stay in with the exception of a few things. First, the lady was right, the cooking utensils (warped frying pan, absolute junk of a toaster and awful collection of dull knives and eating utensils) were extremely poor. Just a $100 run at a Walmart that's just few miles away would take care of this. The biggest issue I had with this place was the grill. It looked like a gas grill that was converted very poorly into a charcoal grill. Although the overall size of the grill is good, there was an uneven tray approximately 12" x 12" to put the briquettes in. I had a couple of friends over and it took over an hour to finish cooking all the food for eight people. For the amount you pay for this place the owners should be able to afford to fork out $350.00 for cooking utensils and a grill.

Overall however these were not deal breakers because of the great location, cleanliness of the place and professionalism of the property management. Ownership however needs to step up and spend a few bucks to make it perfect.

BEAUTIFUL sunsets. The place is nice, but NOTHING beats the view. I would rent this every week if I could.

Private pool, plenty of parking, and direct beach access... very few locations can compare to this.

Love the beach location. Short walk to Candy Kitchen!! This could be dangerous, lol. Ready to book it again! Property is as described. Property manager was excellent at answering any question and quick to get a broken dryer latch repaired ASAP.

We'll book this again. We've been visiting this area for the past 10 years and this was an excellent spot. I'd love to give the place a full 5 stars for everything but a few amenities could use some updates. BBQ grill needs cleaning and a place to dispose of ash. Washer is small for large items like beach towels. Living room furniture is well worn. All in all this place was wonderful!!!

Very clean well kept inside and out, able to watch sunsets from your balcony beautiful furniture and everything you need in the kitchen. Watched kids swim while we set in shade few feet away. Could not ask for better accommodations! I highly recommend I have paid twice this amount for much less.

After 2010 we came back to the Sunset Villas - this time with our little son. And - exactly as eight years before - we loved every second of it! This place is just awesome. The view? Outstanding! Our disappointment was the condition of the pool area.All the chairs, lounges and around the rim of the pool needed a good power washing. They were very dirty with mold and old body oil.
We were also disappointed to find that the barbeque was charcoal only. It looked like a gas grill in the pictures

We rented all 4 condos with 3 other couples, family and friends. It had to be the best experience and fun that we have all shared together. We have vacationed together for some time , but thsee condos,pool, and beach access were fabulous!

My husband & I are a recently retired couple who rented Unit #3 for a 3-week winter vacation. We were completely satisfied with this property - great location close enough to many great restaurants and activities, but private enough to be quiet. Kitchen was very well stocked - more than most rental properties, with good quality cookware and ample supply of dishes, etc. We loved the huge granite peninsula and stools, beachfront deck and a view that was spectacular. Pool was very well maintained & heated. The master bedroom king-size bed appeared fairly new, good quality and very comfortable. Super-size closet space in both bedrooms. We would have enjoyed a TV in the master BR, but that's not a deal-breaker for us. Unit was adequately cleaned, with exception of shower in master bath which which needed a more attentive cleaning, and could use some updating (new shower head and curtain.) Laundry service provided sheets and adequate supply of bath towels, although sheets did not fit the king very well. We only had one occasion to call Resort Realty with an issue during our stay, and they were very pleasant and responded very promptly. Only down-side to this property would be the 2-flights of stairs for anyone who might not be able to carry luggage and groceries upstairs(that was not a problem for us.) Overall, we were totally happy with our stay and would definitely return to Sunset Villas.

This condo met our expectation. It was a very quite location, located just close enough to things to do. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. I do wish that there was one more TV located in one of the bedrooms. The pool and downstairs patio was a perfect spot to get out of the sun and cool off, and the beach view could not have been better. Great vacation spot and would recommend if a beach vacation is what you are looking for.

The unit itself was very nice. The new bed was super comfy. Plenty of room for the four of us. The only thing I would say is that the bathrooms are in need of updating as well as the furniture in the living area. Otherwise we will definitely come back. The area is not crowded which we really liked and the sunsets cannot be beat. Check out the local Resturants Wahoos and beachside grill.!!

We love staying at Sunset Villas, which we do every year for our anniversary. All of the units have incredible gulf views with awesome large balcony patios. The condo is also very large and the entire living room/kitchen has the gulf view. Gorgeous sunset every night. Unit 3 kitchen has been updated and looks great. Bathrooms still need updating - sink, faucet, toilets. The master bed is better than the one in Unit 4, but probably still needs a new one. Also, the living room furniture is quite worn. Despite the updates needed, we will return next year!

Excellent. the only suggestion I would have is that they put a TV in the master bedroom as most units I have ever been in have that. However, having said that, it is a VERY minor detail ~ and really is only important if the weather isn't good and you can't be on the beach.

Wonderful vacation. The part we liked the best was the heated pool which was actually warm enough to enjoy during the cooler temps of February. The condo was clean, bright with a tasteful nautical theme with a beautiful view.

Great set up, with the swimming pool facing the ocean. Spend the windy days, with the kids, by the pool. Semi private balcony. Had to pick up keys from the managing company's offices, 10 min away by car. Large queen size bed very uncomfortable.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway. Great view from the balconies and easy access to the beach. Pool nicely heated.
All the necessities in the kitchen. Furniture a little worn but comfortable.
Felt like a home away from home.

Place was clean except the ceiling vent in the laundry area was filthy,wonder if that is why I got a sinus infection during stay.
Would have been better if the owner had complete pots and pans and a crickpot plus kitchen essentials for cooking. Also would have liked to have sponges,cleaning agents and a few more essentials for light cleaning while staying. Had to buy at store for our stay. ceiling cracked. Would like to have had more privacy on a shared deck, maybe a room divider would be a possibility? a bit uncomfortable with that. Lovely pool,view. Disappointed we had to pay for 7 days but only stayed 6,neighbor told me she called and booked 4 days no problem!

We rented 3 of the 4 apartments. Absolutely love the accommodation - Everything was perfect. Glorious location on the beach with lovely sea views. Great having choice of relaxing around pool or beach, making it very difficult to venture anywhere else! This was our 2nd time at these apartments and booking with rental company - excellent service. Cannot wait for a 3rd visit.

Stayed in unit 3 at Sunset Villas and it was great. Loved the fantastic view of the Gulf, the private pool for the 4 units, and the overall condition of the villa. A couple small things could be changed/fixed around the unit, but nothing substantial.


Location is great, within 15 minutes of lots of good restaurants, but the unit itself is not located in a congested area.

We'll be back !

Needs more furniture in living room - when we arrived found no bedding for pull-out couch (which is not very comfortable as a sleeping option, by the way). Was rectified after a call to agency the next day but was too late by the time we arrived on Saturday so very disappointed about that. Other than that location and facility were great.

Another amazing family March break in an amazing location. This is the fourth time we have rented at the Sunset Villas, and have never once been disappointed. The location can't be beat! Condo was a nice size, appreciated the spacious kitchen. Bathrooms were not the largest but there were two so that made up for lack of space. Balcony overlooking the gulf/pool was excellent.

Love this location and layout of the condo! Great deck, swim pool and walk right out onto the beach, beautiful sunsets and close to everything we need. Only negitives...You can hear everything going on in the other condos, as well as a few minor maintenance issues and detailed cleaning could be better, ie base boards and mold growing in the shower grout.

A wonderful property. Great views, lovely beach & wildlife. The apartment was clean and spacious and had (nearly everthing) a family needs for a weeks holiday with some great touches - beach chairs and coffee for arrival. The owner is stll investing too ( a new BBQ was installed whilst we were there) - always a good sign. Plenty of poolside loungers & great shaded area to relax. Other benefits include a great ice-cream shop, pizza takeaway, 7/11 over the road (no car needed!) and a fantastic restuarant and coffeee house nearby. Near perfect.
