Other than needing to drive 20 minutes to pick up and off the keys, it was an enjoyable stay.

Lovely condo, very comfortable, nice decor. Awesome view of the beach from the porch and living room. You just walk down the stairs, out the pool gate and you're on the dunes and the beach. Quiet. Very clean.
The only small annoyance is that you have to drive 17 minutes (8 miles) down Gulf Blvd to get to the rental office to pick up the keys, then go back at the end of the stay to return the keys. I'm not sure why some sort of lockbox at the property isn't being used but it would certainly save a lot of time and inconvenience. Otherwise I have no complaints - all that mattered day to day was great!

Super Lage mit fast allem Komfort, mit dem Auto gut erreichbar, es ist nur umständlich den Schlüssel im Office abzuholen und dann nochmals etwa 15 Min. zu fahren, Die Einrichtung und Betten haben uns gut gefallen, die Aussicht ist super, Sonnenuntergänge awesome, schade dass es keine Beachinfrastruktur wie Chairs oder Schirme etc. hat, muss man selber mitbringen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach location was simply amazing and so were the sunsets. The unit was very spacious and clean. The only drawback was that we had to drive to the rental office about 20 minutes away to get the keys. Normally not a big deal but our flight got in so late then to have to make an extra stop was a bit annoying but once we got there it was worth it.

We loved everything about this place except that we had to drive out of our way to pick up the key and then out of our way to drop it off. We had to drive 14 hours home so it would have been easier if they would have a keyless entry system with a code. Other than that, the property was clean, decorated well, in a great location, right on the beach, close to restaurants, etc.

5 lifelong friends celebrating 1 retiring. Beautiful views, loved balcony for our morning coffee. Had pool to ourselves everyday. Our only complaint would be the hassle of returning keys to a separate location. Keyless locks aren't a new thing.

The property was just as described. Plenty of room for 4 adults to stay. A full kitchen with access to outdoor grill. The pool and chairs were a nice option. The real reason to stay here is beach access. Walk directly out onto the beach. We spent our morning drinking coffee on the balcony watching the dolphins and our evenings watching the sunset.

This was a great place to stay with the family!! Perfect location with direct access to the beach. The beach area wasn’t over crowded like other areas. Sunset views every evening to die for! Rear balconies arent private but it made for great conversations and meeting new people. The only complaint I have is cleanliness. We had to immediately go buy our own mop supplies because our kid was black all over from the floors!!! Yuck. Also had to clean the sliding back glass to realize it wasn’t hazy/foggy outside. For what people pay for cleaning fees, I expect a little better. It should also be disclosed in the listing that the AC cannot be turned down below 72 degrees! We stayed cool but there were times that we wanted it cooler but due to the warnings provided, we never turned it lower in fear of freezing the unit.

Unbelievable place! Our neighbors were fantastic made friends that we’ll stay in contact with. The view was incredible, local food restaurants were awesome as well. We’ll be coming back 100%

The location of this property is great. You could not be closer to the beach. There’s a playground/basketball court across the road for kids. It was nice to have a heated pool that was shared with only 3 other units. My main complaint is that we had to drive out of our way to pick up and drop off keys and then keep up with physical keys on the beach. The keypad locks are easier, personally.

Considering the unit was supposed to be “sanitized” and we couldn’t check in until 3:00 I was disappointed in how improperly it was cleaned. Underwear behind the washing machine (still there) toothpaste residue in hall bathroom on mirror. Hairs on toilet paper holder and in shower (not from someone’s head) and noticeable dirty handprints in all door jams, and walls. I purchased cleaning products and gave it a good once over. The place was beautiful and haven’t any complaints except the cleanliness. I would still recommend to someone and stay there again!

Perfect beach getaway. We really enjoyed being able to walk out onto our deck, down the stairs and be right on the beach. The condo was just the right size, and had all the necessary items to make our stay perfect (only thing we needed to bring were our own beach towels). They do have some beach items at the house, but we put a deposit down with the rental company and they gave us 2 beach chairs and an umbrella to use for the week. When we were done they returned our deposit. Besides the beautiful beach, we were close to great restaurants and shopping. We were looking for a quiet beach vacation and that's exactly what we got. We will be back!

My wife and I had a blast here. Awesome beachfront view, easy access to the beach and not crowded. Walking distance to good food and drinks made this a relaxing stay. Only minor stresser was not receiving our check in info until the day of but partially my fault as I hadn’t reached out to the managers before hand. Overall excellent and we’d stay there again.

Sunset Villas did not disappoint. Location was perfect and the pool and beach access were awesome. Master bedroom mattress was almost as good as our sleep number at home. We will definitely stay here again. Only suggestions would be to add a few new coffee mugs and wine glasses. But wine at the beach still tastes great from just about anything :)

This condo is better than advertised very quite street with easy & ample parking the beaches here are awesome the unit has fantastic views and you can watch sunsets from your balcony .High end furnishings & well equipped kitchen.Close too everything including great restaurants.this place is high end with reasonable pricing .Great pool area, get sun or sit in shade ,it's you choice!

The Sunsets are beautiful and the view is the best in Unit 4. The pool deck is great. There is a barbecue area with table and a lounge area. The ocean is right off the pool deck and within a minute your feet are in the Gulf of Mexico. There is plenty to do in the area or just relax. My family loves it.

My family rented all 4 condos and it worked out great, 13 adults and one baby. The property is directly on the beach and has it’s own pool. There are a few restaurants within walking distance which is nice but the condos are equipped with most everything needed to prepare meals there. There were only a couple of beach chairs and umbrellas between the 4 units, so that would be an extra expense if you want them, and no beach towels provided but we were told that prior to traveling

The condo was awesome! It was everything we had hoped. The condo was clean and furnishings were comfortable. Beds were great! The pool was a welcome alternative when the kids wanted to swim. Having both the pool and beach was the best of both worlds. Management company was welcoming and encouraged us to contact them if we needed anything- which we didn't! Would love to return to this condo!

Our condo was very nice, convenient and right on the beach. We enjoyed the very private feel of a small building. The biggest problem was the beds in the 2nd bedroom. Our daughter was unable to sleep there because it was so uncomfortable.

Thank you for your post! September is a great time of the year to visit the beaches, even October, November and December are great too! This time of the year will not only make the beaches less crowded but you can also get some of the best pricing that time of the year too!! Thanks for the post! Sunset Villas is the perfect place to be together, yet be able to get away just like you said!! It is the perfect set up for family gatherings as you have the shared space, yet you still have 4 private dwellings to retreat to. We look forward to seeing you for next years vacation!! :-)

This was our second year enjoying sunset villas! We have love filling all four units with our friends. We are able to have lots of time together and separate easily for different kids/families schedules. The balconies and pool area is great for hanging out all together! Condos are very clean too! And last but not least, that beautiful ocean front view and beach! It's perfect!

Needs 1 more chair in living area. OK for 2 but not 3 or 4 people.
Kitchen quite new re: cupboards and countertop.
Bathrooms need new faucets. Very comfy bed and beach is wonderful-way better than St Pete's Beach.

Very nice place at the beach. The beach is clean and very comfortable for relaxing ,swimming in the warm water, runnig or walking along the beach.
this area is not so busy, so you can enjoy the watching of birds like pelicans. The combo is very comfortable and we liked sitting on the balcony with the viewing to the beach and sunset.

We noticed the cleaning was not up to par this visit - the fans & blinds were pretty dusty, dishwasher was dirty (on outside; not wiped off), a couple of light bulbs were burned out. The new kitchen and beds are fabulous - my only suggestion would be to get sheets that are deep enough to fit the new beds. Resort Realty does a great job. Rudy is very friendly - we dealt w/ staff regarding a satellite tv issue, and they were all great - it was resolved quickly. All in all, we had a great visit, just wanted to give the owner some "cleaning" feedback. We love this place, and definitely will be back!!

Location on beach could not be better.
The problem was with the owner. She burst into our apartment the first morning on the pretext that she wanted to take a photo of some undescript piece of furniture. Which was strange also she had only 4 beds round the pool for a 4 apartment complex which led to tension between the other occupants. Her excuse was she could not find 4 others to match as they wear no longer in production.

We really enjoy this property because of the location and immediate access to the beach and area entertainment/dining. The limited number of units adds the element of a single family home. We definitely will return to this location for the sixth time next year.

This lovely condo is right on the beach and the location is very close to everything from Treasure Island to Indian Rocks....the condo is spacious and comfortable and well appointed. I couldn't have asked for more. Definitely will return. Very reasonable price, too.

We have rented at this location at least half a dozen times and it's simply wonderful! We love the quiet residential location but we are close enough to restaurants, shops and activities if we want to do something. Love stepping from the deck to the beach and listening to the gulf and birds every day. Just the most relaxing place! Will go back again in the future :)

We had a great time. The condo was wonderful. Love the beach.
Could have used a little more furniture in the living room as there were not enough places to sit comfortably with 4 adults.
A sectional would be a great addition.

This place had everything my family wanted. The beach is clean and has soft sand-great for playing, walks and running. The pool area was well maintained, pretty and great to relax or swim. Being steps from the beach and able to sit on the deck and look at the ocean were perfect. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. My husband loved fishing in the ocean and a across the street in the intercostal. The condo was clean and more spacious than I expected. Some updates in the kitchen and living room furniture would be nice but not necessary. We were outside so much that it wasn't and issue. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Was a little worried about sharing the space with strangers. But everyone kept to themselves and were considerate. No problems. We did know the family next to us from home. You share a deck so this is a good place to travel with those you know.

This is our third stay at the Sunset Villas and we had another great, relaxing vacation. Having the beach on one side and a park on the other is perfect for our young boys. The small complex has always been quiet and had nice families or adults in the other units. The condos may be a bit dated, but they have large living areas and kitchen space. The property management company, Resort Rentals, has always been exceptional to us, accommodating and professional. We love it here and will definitely return.

Great for families. Private location! Lots of outdoor living space, poolside seating, deck table table and chairs, etc. Kitchen had loads of counter space but could have been equipped a bit better. Overall we were extremely satisfied and are already booked for next year.

Our vacation was absolutely perfect! Sunset Villas is a well cared for property, quiet with only four units, and the location on the beach could not have been better. We enjoyed the fine sand beaches, the shallow ocean water, the beautiful sunsets and the salt water heated pool. We look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend this property.

This place was perfect for our family. We brought our daughter and granddaughter who is 10 months old. The pool and beach were perfect and the washer and dryer were a real stand out. We can't wait to come back and bring the rest of the family.

This is a very nice property with only four condos, secluded and quiet. The only negative is there is no elevator so one has to haul suitcases up and down several flights of stairs, but the units are spacious and even have washer and dryers.

I rented 3 of the 4 units at Sunset Villas for my son's wedding in the area in early October. The set up was excellent allowing each family to have a separate unit and still have lots of common family time in one of the units or outside on the balcony or down next to the pool. My grandchildren swam in the pool for hours as entertainment right there at the house. For extra fun those who chose swam in the Gulf and walked the beach. The units were attractively decorated with all the conveniences of home. I would not hesitate to stay in these units again!!

This is the second time my family has stayed here and we love it! The beach was beautiful and not too busy. The pool was warm and there is plenty of seating pool side. The condo inside was very comfortable for the four of us. We had a minor problem with a smoke detector beeping and a maintenance person was in to fix the problem within the hour of our call. We will be back for sure. We wish they would get a gas BBQ.

Beautiful condo, fully equipped, incredible views to the Gulf of Mexico from our wide terrace while enjoying breakfast and watching the pelicans dive into the ocean ! The location was fine too just a couple of miles from the restaurants and grocery stores and a few more to the shopping malls ...
