Gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico. Condo was equipped with everything we needed. Great time with friends!

Our second year in Villa Madeira 301. With the exception of the tiny insects around the stove, we liked unit so much that we have rented it for the same time period next year. We got to speak to the owner as were a tad late leaving. I showed him the problem with the dresser drawers that have a tendency to fall out if you pull them out more than 6 inches. He said he would fix them.

The unit was lovely! The listing stated no beach chairs, etc. However, on the last day I opened a closet and found beach chairs, toys, a cooler, etc! Would have been nice to know as we brought most of that stuff from our house in largo. Loved the balcony!

Very enjoyable. Wrap around deck did reduce size of apartment. Water pressure in showers are very low and main bathroom toilet has a slow leak causing phantom flushes

This condo is so nice and cozy and family friendly, we loved waking up to watch the dolphins and loved the fact that we needed a key to get on and off the beach because that meant we didnt have as big of a crowd also needed the key to get in the pool so it was never packed in there either. Everything was as expected.

Overall, the stay was great! The unit was as described and accurate to pictures. The unit was very clean on arrival. Easy to get to John's Pass and grocery stores. We were able to get in and out with ease, the parking was appreciated. The beach and the pool were great - easy to get to. The building was quiet and even though there was a little street noise that did not stop us from sitting on the balcony every night to listen to the waves. There were a few MINOR things that could help for any future people staying: - Something in the description on places to rent beach chairs/loungers (like the blue ones in the pictures) would be awesome! Luckily I called Resort Rentals and they told me who to call and they only had two loungers left by the time I called! - The knives were incredibly dull. I couldn't cut a tomato! Having a knife sharper available would be very appreciated. - The rugs in the bedroom and master bathroom....probably shouldn't be there. So hard to know the last time they were cleaned. - The bedding. Very thick comforter in the master...again not sure when the last time it was washed. For us, it didn't really matter - we just rolled up the rugs and set them aside until we left and didn't use the comforter - we had family in the area who loaned us a blanket. Again - overall it was a great trip and great unit!

What a perfect week for a vacation. The condo was clean had everything we need. Located right in the hub of all the fun, dining, fabulous beach, pool, and everyone was so friendly. Could not say enough, the pictures did not compare to the real thing.

You can’t go wrong renting this condo. Very clean and up to date. Pros - close to shopping, food, and entertainment. The ocean view was spectacular. Liked the screened in porch. Nice that there are benches with umbrellas to rent directly outside of the unit. 3 cons- definitely need ceiling fans in other bedrooms. Brooms! Couldn’t sweep any sand up that we brought in from the beach. Keurig!!!!!!

This condo specifically is open with large views of the ocean from the corner room with lots of lighting. The arrangement of windows makes the rooms feel much larger than it is; yet the room is a good size already.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Madeira. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The balcony is awesome, offering great views of the Gulf, beach and sunsets. We rented the beach loungers and canopy, but beach chairs and water toys are available in the unit. The beach is not crowded here, which is very different on either side with public areas. Looking forward to our next vacation at Villa Madeire next year.

Condo was clean. Third bedroom very small, bed looks like a double but only room for 1 adult. We had 6 but couch was very comfy. Great being right on the beach. Very secure. Would definitely rent again if in the area.

This condo was a wonderful location for a family vacation! The condo was fully equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen as well as all the beach toys/chairs etc that you would need for the beach. The bed in the master was very comfortable. The view is amazing and my kids loved going to the beach and pool every day. The washer and dryer were a bonus with us being there for the week. We went to John's pass in the middle of the trip for something different and our kids loved the alligator sanctuary at the boardwalk (only about 3 mins away). We had all our meals out on the balcony and could even watch the dolphins in the morning. Only recommendation is to make sure you bring your own beach towels as there are only bath towels provided. Just a great trip!

This is a really great rental property and we were surprised with how well it fit our needs. First lets start with the unit; Its a corner unit on the second floor that has amazing ocean views. We would sleep with the door open and the AC off just to hear the waves crashing. Really great balcony, perfect sized kitchen and the rooms were perfect for a family of four. When we stayed there was a cold front that came through so we had to turn the heater on a couple of mornings, but everything worked well from an AC/Cooling/Heating point of view. The thing I'm most amazed about is the quality of the Wifi connection. I have two kids in school and we decided that we would do remote learning from the beach instead of in our cold brown Colorado home. The wifi is so robust here that I had both of my kids zooming while I was zooming at work and never had a issue with bandwidth. This might be the best internet experience I've ever had at a rental. We also brought out our Fire Stick and were able to easily stream our own movies and shows onto the TVs. The TV in the main living room is quite large and the TV in the main bedroom is also large. The pool wasn't heated on the coldest day, but they got a technician out there to fix it and it was nice and warm on our subsequent days. The HOA at Mederia does an incredible job of keeping things clean and they were cleaning the pool, the pool deck and the sun deck daily. It was really a nice property. We will definitely come back.

Comfortable unit with incredible views, lots of nature viewed from the deck, saw dolphins playing daily. Pelicans are comfortable around people and get very close, fun to watch them fishing while swimming in the gulf! Location is perfect within walking distance to Johns Pass. Unit very clean, check in process easy. My only complaint was that this particular unit's kitchen was not very well stocked. There were plenty of plates and bowls but not much for cooking and we are a family of cooks! My tip would be to bring your own pots, pans, and cooking utensils! Nice surprise though was that there were beach chairs, umbrellas and water toys available for our use.

For years we have used Resort Rentals for our Florida vacation. They are very friendly and accommodating, have many rentals to choose from on different beaches, and their website has all the info you need from pictures, maps, aerial views, prices and availability, so there are no surprises when you enter your rental. For three years we have gone to the same condo at Villa Madeira. It is in a great location on madeira beach, close to restaurants and Johns Pass, beautiful beach and glorious sunsets. This is a corner unit with wrap around deck and very well kept. My family loves it!!

The condo was really nice and clean. We love staying there in September the condo is in a great location and on the beach. We will be staying again. Would love to have beach towels for the room but other than that condo was well equiped with all u need. My wife, 4 teenagers, and I traveled to Madeira for a week long vacation and each fell in love with the area and this condo. The condo is very nice and was plenty big for our family. We loved the condo. It was the perfect spot for the 6 of us. I also had to work during much of our time there, and the WiFi was solid through each of my zoom meetings. I had a very easy time connecting. All the amenities are close by. We enjoyed it immensely.

My family enjoyed the condo and beach very much. The unit was stocked with everything you might need plus some. While it was a bit annoying having to use the key everywhere it definitely felt very secure. The location was close to everything including restaurants and places to rent water sports equipment. We would love to stay again sometime.

We love this condo! Over the years we have tried several different condos but this one was by far my favorite and It was only a one mile walk to Johns pass.
My only negative and it had nothing to do with this condo we stayed in. It would be the old lady who was “The properties guard dog” who was questioning me on which room I was in, did I check in early, etc.. I Never heard from her again, but didn’t appreciate being drilled with questions within the 1st hour of arriving.

Great condo! We've stayed on Madeira Beach each fall for the last ten years. We've stayed in different beach houses and condos each year. This is the first condo where we will look to come back and stay every year moving forward. The other places have been fine but this had everything we wanted - clean, modern, and great location. The wrap around balcony was a nice bonus. Thanks for a great stay :)

Very good location and unit. We've stayed at many condos in FL. Most have gotten away from hard door keys. It's no fun keeping track of the keys while moving from beach to pool to the unit with 5 guests. Who has the keys? This condo was exactly like it looked in the pictures on VRBO. It was the perfect size for a family of five with elementary and middle school kids. The condo is very clean and we love the wraparound patio. The building is very laid-back, very quiet. The pool is a nice size and clean . The beach in front of the condo is outstanding. It is not crowded. The sand is nice and the beach is wide. Only thing I would change is the keys which often stuck and made it hard to get in and out of the various gates around the building.

This condo is at a great location on the west coast. It’s close to all your amenities and Clearwater, St Petersburg, etc. This corner condo which is directly on the Gulf beach, has a spectacular view! The grounds, pool, and condo were spotlessly clean. we’re very good to deal with...very informative, prompt responses....highly recommend.

Condo is in great condition and they updated their internet (for the kids that don't leave the house). The property is also in great condition. My only negative about the property is key access. it is time to go to some type of digital key access. This summer, I had 4 adults and 2 keys. It was an issue. Other than that, it was great!

Our vacation was completely enjoyed by the entire family. VM 301 is an excellent condo with all the comforts of home. The pictures displayed are very accurate. When you enter the condo and see the Gulf through the balcony doors, it has a Wow factor. My only recommendation would be to add or upgrade the beach chairs available. The staff at Resort Rentals was very accommodating with all of our requests. We hope to return again in the future.

With it being a secured building it is true that you need keys at all times and we too would love to see a key-less entry added! This was our 3rd stay and each time gets better! The unit was furnished with new living room furniture, elegant new bedding and chairs in the bedrooms. The bath and kitchen towels were folding fancy like flowers, a nice touch. The only thing we had a challenge with this year was less cookware. However, we looked at is as an adventure to cook a large breakfast for 4 with 1 large fry pan and made spaghetti and pasta with 1 large pot. I'm sure most people eat out on vacation, we are the exception. The unit, property and beach are paradise. We will be returning next year.

The property was described perfectly. The view is indescribably spectacular. The two decks are enclosed and directly on the ocean. Every night the sunset is directly in your view. The beach in front of the unit is maintained impeccably. The interior is just as beautiful as the outside. The unit is very well maintained. The bathrooms are completely refurbished, and the master is great. The unit is a must-stay for everyone. And the pool and amenities are solid. The property management company was spot on with instructions, directions and communication. I will definitely be returning.

I stayed at Villa Madeira with my husband, baby, mother and sister. The staff at the rental centre were very pleasant and helpful. Our condo was in great condition and we enjoyed that it was on the corner of the building for great ocean views. The screened in balcony was especially nice, as it provided extra living area and was ideal for siting out at night. It also included laundry machines, beach toys and a variety of kitchen utensils and appliances. There was no downside to condo #301 and you can tell that it is very well maintained. The swimming pool was great and was warm enough to take our 5-month-old in. This condo is also within walking distance of several restaurants and shops, which made it very convenient. The beach area was sandy and we saw a number of dolphins and sea bird, especially pelicans. With a central location to major surrounding areas, this condo was perfect and I would rate it above average. The only negative aspects were that there was remodelling taking place outside the condo and the workers had their equipment set up in the pool area. It was so loud one day we had to leave the pool as we were not enjoying it and the tile saw was making our baby cry. The parking garage would have have been an equally accessible and more logical place to complete this work. We also did not realize there were recycling bins on property. As Canadians, we are used to recycling everything and wished we had known this at the beginning of our stay. We would definitely return to this property in the future, and recommend condo #301.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessities a gourmet cook would need, plus beautiful granite counter tops.From the moment you walk in the front door the views are breath taking due to the wrap around screened porch. All the bedrooms have very comfortable beds with elegant bedding. The living room has a large sectional sofa that is comfortable and accommodates more than sufficient seating for your stay. Both bathrooms are sufficient in size, especially the master bedroom. We brought a blow up mattress and slept on the porch one night. It was fantastic to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. There is not one negative thing I can say about unit 301 or our stay. We are booked to return in 2017. It is worth every penney.

We noticed updates since our last stay a few years ago including fresh paint in the parking garage and stairwells. The entire property was very clean. The location is convenient to restaurants and shopping. We love waking up to the sound of the ocean. We were able to watch several pods of dolphin throughout the week as they swam back and forth by the condo. There is also a great sand bar for finding sand dollars and shells that is fun to swim out to during low tide. We love Madeira Beach and will definitely be back to Villa Madeira in the future!

There is also a great sand bar for finding sand dollars and shells that is fun to swim out to during low tide. We love Madeira Beach and will definitely be back to Villa Madeira in the future!

Stayed at Villa Madiera, Condo #301. This was the second time we stayed in this unit. Love it's location within the building. The unit was very clean and kept up very well. The condo building was under a massive overhaul. We were only disrupted once we they sanded the outer door. It was very load, but only last about 10 minutes. These guys were very professional

Condo was well equipped, clean and accommodated my family well. The beach was clean and beautiful. The people staying at the condos around us were polite and respectful-no spring break craziness. That being said there were a few groups of college age boys but they were not an issue at all. In fact my husband played volleyball with them. We stayed in Clearwater before during this time and that beach got pretty crazy as the day wore on. Publix's as a mile down the road and many restaurants were easily to reach. The traffic getting out of the beach area was not as horrid as Clearwater either. We took a few trips to things and dinners out toward Tampa and it was so much easier traffic wise too. We really would love to come back and stay in 301 again!

We had a great stay in this beautiful code. The wrap around deck was a huge plus, with the option for sun or shade at any time. A lounger on the deck would be a nice addition. The pool is terrific, we spent may hours in and beside the pool. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. There was some construction happening during our stay but it was not too intrusive.

This year we stayed in unit 301 and found the unit to be clean and well-maintained. The unit felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was found to be well very well equipped and the unit up to date. We loved the wrap around balcony and enjoyed watching for dolphins which we saw often. Our only complaint was that the sliding door to the balcony was very difficult to open and one of the keys to the front entrance presented a challenge when attempting to unlock the door. We enjoyed a nightly trip to the Candy Kitchen across the street for ice cream. The unit is within walking distance to Johns Pass where shopping, dining and excursions are available. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay at Villa Madeira again in the future. I would highly recommend this property to friends.

We had a wonderful family vacation on Mad Beach. If hanging out on the beach is your number 1 goal… Villa Madeira is the place! We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet - and close - the beach was. Our condo was very spacious for family of 5, and being a corner unit it had a huge wrap-a-round balcony (the screens ended up to not be a big deal at all). The bonus 3rd bedroom was a nice surprise! The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for simple daytime meals and the unit was furnished nicely throughout. Condo's are located a very short drive from grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and water activities. Bring (or buy) beach towels! Fabulous vacation.

There are no words to describe the feeling of waking up daily to the beautiful view of the ocean from the wrap around screened porch. For this one week life could not have been any better!!!

This the 2nd time we rented this condo. This condo is spacious. We had a group of 12 family members. With 3 units rented. We were able to a seat 12 very comfortably. The kitchen was beautiful. There could have been more cooking utensils and knives. There was plenty of dishes and silverware. The master bedroom and bathroom were great. The 2 other bedrooms were wonderful as well. It is an extremely well kept condo. We will without a doubt rent this condo again. This location is the best. You can go anywhere in a short amount of time.

We liked the condo so much.We loved the balcony and spent a lot of time in it relaxing and looking at ocean. The stairs are kinda treacherous for bare feet. Especially the ones on the far right if you are facing the building looking at it. The lips of the stairs near the bottom level could easily cut someones foot open.

Great condo, wonderful white sand beach. Lots of sand dollars. Dolphins in the morning and Manatee in the afternoon swam right off shore in front of the condo. One complaint is that the condo above and one unit over had a complete floor renovation going on. Two days of much noise to the point you could not concentrate in our room. Loud hammering day 1 as they used large hammers to break up all the ceramic tile. Day 2 was worse as they used a power tool that sounded like a jack hammer to remove all the underlament. Two days of unrest during the day.

We absolutely love to stay at the Villa Madeira. We stay there every summer. Our condo was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the kitchenware we needed. Our family loves the walks to the Candy Kitchen for ice cream every evening, the beautiful sunsets, and the fact that you step off the back patio right onto the beach.
The location is also great for planning day trips to see the Dali Museum or the Chihuly exhibit or heading up to the Clearwater Aquarium to see Winter the Dolphin. We will be back!

The only thing I didn't like was having to return the keys to the rental site. Why not leave the keys in the room? I left at 5:00AM and it was difficult to locate the rental office in the dark. There needs to be a lighted sign to make it less difficult.

The Condo was nicely decorated, it has a million dollar view of the beach and of the activity of Gulf Blvd. Great ice cream/candy store across the street. Many great restaurants nearby, our favorites are The Middle Ground restaurant, Guppy's, Caddy's is a great place for a Grouper sandwich for lunch. We always visit the Dog Races, great exciting time for an afternoon. We like to take a walk down the beach and then cut across to the street on the way back up at the walk through at Screwie Louies, this is a great place for a Mahi sandwich and drink for lunch. The Condo was very clean and very well supplied with kitchen ware and towels and linens. We will visit the area again and would rent Villa Madeira #301 if it is available.

The condo, surroundings, and location was everything I hoped it would be and more! There were no disappointments at all! We were so comfortable in the condo and in all surrounding areas and that's with 4 children, ages 3 to 11! John's Pass is very close and offers lots of food, shopping, and site seeing! We were planning our next visit before even leaving! Our vacation was so wonderful thanks to the lovely condo and the location with lots to do! Our kids had a blast too! We will be returning!

I loved everything about this unit! The screened-in, wrap-around balcony was simply fabulous. We had a great view of the gulf, and being on the end meant it was very quiet at night. The pool is just below the balcony and the kids playing would sometimes be a bit loud, but generally it was quiet after dark. There are lots of shops and places to eat very close by. The kitchen & bathrooms were absolutely beautiful! Plenty of dishes and pots/pans for cooking, but not too many for leftovers - if you plan on cooking & think there will be some left over, I would suggest getting cheap containers or saran wrap. The furniture was comfortable, and there were more than enough towels for us, but if you have more than 4 people, you may want to bring some with you. There were plenty of chairs next to the beach for lounging & leaving your beach towels (definitely bring your own or you won't have enough for showers) while you go for a dip in the Gulf. I am definitely planning on being a repeat customer :)

We have stayed in Villa Madeira for over 25 years coming to the Gulf Coast and unit 301 was the best decorated unit we have ever rented. Most rental units do not have the renovations and are equipped as this unit was. I know we were only renting not buying the unit but it certainly makes our vacation much more enjoyable.

This is my 3rd time ive rented from resort rentals and second at villa maderia. this was by far the nicest unit yet. We did have a small issue with the ice machine, only cause the ice wasnt dispensing but received a call immediately from the unit owner, who helped us correct it. he was very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to supply more cookware. The frying pan was terrible for cooking, especially pancakes. no big deal, but maybe a inexpensible griddle would be greatly appeciated for other occupants. over all this unit was very clean and spacious. Thank you resort rentals and Mr Anthony for allowing us to stay at this wonderful unit.

The online pictures do not do this condo justice. Pictures of recently updated granite kitchen should be posted. Condo owner went out of her way with extra touches/floor plan/ furnishings/ accessories /upscale tissue/towel choices to make the guest's stay comfortable. Key hanger by door, nice touch. Well appointed kitchen for all cooking and entertaining needs. Shower is handicap friendly, will easily accommodate a walker. Loved having a washer/dryer. Thoughtful beach things in closet. Outstanding beach/dolphin views. Loved the screened lanai. Would only change twin beds in back bedroom to queen bed, we usually go in couples. Had a great time. Hated to leave and will definitely come back to this condo. Condo seemed much nicer than others in the building (although others were ok). Rental agency easily accommodated any requests. Absolutely no issues.

I would recommend adding additional towels and beach towels and a hair dryer that works. After we arrived, some of the items we needed to buy were: beach towels, toilet paper (they had a few rolls but not enough for the week), paper towels (1 was provided), detergent & fabric softner (1 little box was provided, but needed to wash towels every day). I think this info will be helpful to people before they arrive, so they know what to bring. We bought most of the items at the close by Dollar store, which was fine. Everything else in the condo was awesome. Oh, the pool was a little small and busy most of the time, but we switched off between the beach and pool so it was fine. We loved the large master bedroom and large shower and the view from our bedroom, dining room and living room was wonderful. I would recommend this corner condo. You also had a good view of the pool, which worked great for our older kids (to keep and eye on them when we were not with them).
