Madeira Beach with its beautiful white sand is one of our favorite vacation spots. This year we stayed in villa Madeira condo 404. The location and view is gorgeous. The condo was very nice, except for their pots and pans, which need to be replaced. Thankfully we brought our own. Due to a leak in the bathroom ceiling fan, we called for maintenance. The leak was caused by the condo above ours and repaired the next day. Due to tropical storm Nicole, we had to leave one day early. We had a wonderful time and plan to return.

Hi. I stayed at the Villa Madeira, unit 404 and it was an amazing unit. I cannot express enough how wonderfully clean it was. Hotels can take a few lessons with regards to their cleaning practices. :) Everything was amazing, the admin staff were so great with any questions, and the beach was just what I needed for a relaxing and fun vacation trip.

Our stay at Villa Madera was excellent! The unit was very clean and well kept, and even newly remodeled. We met my sister and her husband, who stayed with us for two and a half days during our 9-day visit, and they also enjoyed themselves very much. The Villa is right on the beach, this is the shortest walk we've ever had to the water from any of our vacation stays in Florida! The outside of the unit was very well up kept, parking was completely private insecure, and the pool area and pull itself, we're very clean. We enjoyed our stay, and will consider it again next year when we're ready to return!

Have stayed in Madiera Beach at several different locations, like this one the best feel like it was close enough to action within walking distance. But gave us enough privacy being it was located about half way between two public access points. And we were there on a holiday weekend.

Although we have stayed at the Villa Madeira many times in the past 15 years, we had never been in condo #404. This place was beautiful...updated kitchen and baths, clean, comfortable furniture throughout, with everything you would need to have a great vacation. The lanai furniture was great, with 2 full-length lounge chairs, a good-sized table and 2 chairs for meals outside. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. Without sounding too spoiled, my only suggestion would be some type of pillow-top mattress pad for the master suite. Although the bed was comfortable, a good mattress pad would have made it perfect

Our stay at Villa Maderia #404 was everything one could want in a Florida Vacation! Perfect sunset views from an expansive lanai overlooking the gulf. The interior decorations were a great fit for a beach vacation, very soothing and complimentary decor. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook daily meals with ease! The location was great for morning walks on the beach and close to many delicious restaurants (awesome homemade ice cream right across the street at Candy Kitchen..Don't miss it!), and with this year being one of disappointments (Covid), the getaway was a welcome respite. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the relaxing environment that is Florida! Can't wait to visit again!

We had a great time and loved the condo. The view was terrific and the location was close to lots of things. The only minor thing was the WiFi was erratic, because we had to use a different unit’s WiFi. The fridge had a couple of drawers we couldn’t seem to set in place, but it was no big deal.

We have been to Villa Madeira before, but this unit was nicer than the last. It had all that we needed and was nicely updated. Very nice kitchen! The location is excellent- gorgeous beach view and beach front property. Easy walk or drive to John's Pass. Key pick up and drop off was easy, we even got in a little early. What impressed me most is that we lost a wallet, called and asked if the cleaning crew could keep and eye out for it, and they called later saying it had been found down in the sofa bed which was closed up. Clearly they were looking for it for us! Awesome!

We do know they were working hard to get things up and running and we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience that it caused to you and all others at this location!! This of course was something that came up unexpectedly and is not a common occurrence; we can't apologize enough to our guests that were affected by this. We had a great stay at Villa Madeira. Unit #404 was very clean and functional. It more than accommodated all eight of us. The condo was little dated but that didn't stop us from having a blast while we were here. The complex is conveniently located close to everything, entertainment, shops, fine dining and being right on the beach made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a glorious time. The apartment was perfect. Everything was clean and functional. The view over the sand and water very relaxing, we know the area, since we have spent many times in this area. So we knew many restaurants to enjoy. The only drawback for me was the lack of a jacuzzi and that the pool was not heated.

We have several different condos in our program at this building, all will have the washer/dryer in unit and some do have the shower option that you are looking for! My family stayed in unit 404 the last week of July. The unit was very clean and up to date with the exception of the master bedroom and bath. The mattress in the master needs to be replaced as it was very hard and uncomfortable. The master bath can also use some updating to match the decor and upgrades done in the rest of the condo. The condo, overall, was great for the week and I would stay there again in the future. The lounge chairs and pool area were always clean and you can't beat the proximity to the clean beach and the gulf waters. Sunsets were fabulous, from both the beach and the unit's balcony. Location was not too far from Johns Pass which allowed for a nice walk on the main road or on the beach to get there for shopping and dining. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

We do understand that everyone's preferences in the bedding department do vary but again, we will be sure to pass this over for review. We do have some condos at the Villa Madeira that carry a "premier" status designation and in these you will find recent updates throughout the full condo. For something updated all the way through for your next visit, perhaps a premier condo could be a nice fit! The furnishings and decor were in good taste and excellent condition. We have been staying in the John's Pass area for over 20 years and this is our first time at Villa Madeira. We were not sure about the screened in porch but actually liked it very much. When it rained it kept much of the heavy rain out and really did not obstruct your view of the beach. My only problem with this unit was the goofy round tub in the Master bath. It was painted with some sort of water proof paint and looked like it was touched up in a different shade of paint. It needs to be replaced. That is the only reason I only gave the unit four stars in the property conditions section. Other than that everything was great.

Very nice stay. All of us enjoyed it. Did not like having to use our key so much. Getting in and out of pool area, using the bathroom by the pool and getting in to the parking area. We were many times stranded in the pool area without a key. Needs to be a passscode lock for these areas.

404 Was a beautifully decorated condo. We were pleasantly surprised to see they had tastefully decorated for Christmas. Fab location with short walk to John's Pass and public transportation outside the building. Heated pool was great and the property was well maintained. But the best part was the balcony with a Gulf view.
We would highly recommend staying there.

Lots of things to like about this place: the view from our 4th floor condo, we could step right onto the beach from the patio, ample number of lounge chairs on patio, covered parking, close to John's Pass for shopping and restaurants, Pirate's Cove mini golf, an ice cream shop, CVS Pharmacy, and other restaurants just up the street. Master bedroom was good sized but the other two bedrooms were on the small side. Overall our family of six (youngest child was 15) said they'd stay here again. I'd say that's a ringing endorsement!

Condo was very clean and well equipped with exception of the lack of beach chairs etc.
Location is great for access to mainland and to Johns Pass as well as grocery stores etc.
We stayed over the xmas holidays and the owner even had a christmas palm tree and christmas stockings in the unit which was great touch.
Building overall was in great condition as was the pool area and front deck area with the tiki huts and lounge chairs.

This was a great location and the condo had great facilities.When we were there it was a quiet time of the year but it allowed us to take relaxed walks along the beach and we came to the conclusion that this was one of the best premises on the beach given its proximity to John's Pass and other restaurants and bars.

We had a great stay at Villa Madeira #404 in Madeira Beach! The beach is beautiful and not crowded. The location is in a quieter area, which we prefer, with a grocery nearby and many restaurants within driving distance. This unit was sold recently and the new owner had just replaced the mattress and furniture in the master bedroom and was planning other improvements and furniture updates. The kitchen was well stocked and had new dishes. The entire complex was well maintained daily and will be getting new exterior paint soon. We enjoyed eating at Sloppy Joe's in Treasure Island and Sea Hags in St. Pete Beach. Ice cream at the Candy Kitchen across the street was good, but Super Scoops in Treasure Island was even better! We also really enjoyed Gators Parasailing and Dolphin Quest at John's Pass, and the Shell Key boat shuttle from Pass-a-Grille. I would definitely recommend this property in Madeira Beach!

One note but nothing major is bring extra toilet paper...we didn't get very many roles at all and had to buy some. The beach was gorgeous & we were there in early September. The ocean was 88 the whole week. We saw dolphins everyday feeding early in the morning. It was a great vacation & I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed mid June. The view from the lanai was fantastic! The beach was nice and easy to walk out into the water and was never very crowded. We walked in the mornings up and down the beach looking for shells or checking out the other buildings and houses on the beach. We are in our 30's and could walk to John's Pass for some shopping or for just a change of pace. We decided to do the local cuisine and no big chain eateries! The Conch was a favorite along with Middle Grounds Grill, Dockside Daves, Crabby Bills at Indian Rocks. When all else fails ask a local...they are very friendly and never steered us wrong! We did rent a car at the airport and drove to a few places to eat at night and to just drive up to Clearwater and down to Fort De Soto. Fort De Soto also had a beautiful beach especially on the north end. We went on an excursion to Egmont Key and that was okay too..wished our tour was longer to enjoy the whole island.
Master bed was comfy, livingroom furniture was comfortable but we really didn't spend much time inside. I enjoyed having washer and dryer in unit so we didn't bring home a suitcase of dirty clothes! It was nice to have the beach chairs available on the porch to take down to the beach. An umbrella would have been nice to have too. There were options of renting umbrella/chairs on beach. The guy comes around and checks them through the day. The resort management company had lots of brochures and handouts when we checked in and were very friendly! Had a great week and already wanting to save for another trip!

Pool was perfect temperature, tanning area unique with shaded areas. The ONLY thing I would have asked for was a brochure or pamphlet on how to rent the sunbathing beach chairs.. There may have been something mentioned in the paperwork but a specific brochure would have been perfect. Rental agency organized and pleasant! Check in and check out simple and smooth! Thank you for making our long overdue week very enjoyable! We loved that the beach was so easily accessible,security was a plus, and the dolphins were a bonus to our grandchildren! The response to a maintenance problem for the washer was immediate and the technician was polite & professional...The new flooring was very nice and hope you will continue it into the front bedrooms. Loved the Master bedroom! Our only suggestion would be to update the stove appliance. We enjoyed the convience of the location to so many stores and John's Pass. We did our walks on the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home and warm memories. We have reccomended Villa Madeira to our friends & family. A nice place on a wonderful stretch of beach. The condo was well equipped and in good condition. The third "bedroom" was small, but functional for our needs. I would recommend this condo to family and friends.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. We enjoyed our week long stay n this condo. We particularly enjoyed the convenient location to the beach and the great view of the ocean from our balcony. We will definitely stay in again.

Great beach weather enhanced our Thanksgiving stay at Madeira Beach! Our Villa Madeira condo was in a great location, clean, and had a wonderful view. We appreciated the supply of beach chairs and that the pool was actually heated!

Villa Madeira was a perfect property for our family with two small children. The beach was very well maintained, quiet and not at all crowded. The pool is small, but nicely heated. The interior of the condo comfortable and well furnished. We could not get the wi-fi provided with that unit to work, but were able to sign on to another in the building. Overall, very nice place and good value.

Great location. Plenty of space for three college age adults and two parents. Loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. We were there during Hurricane Isaac and the waves in the Gulf were excellent for boogie boarding.

Just spent two glorious weeks in sun in an excellent apartment in the Villa Maderia (404). Although many of the apts were occupied and had families with children it was very quiet and relaxing. There was direct access to a glorious beach with superb swimming. Facilities in apartment excellent. Publix Supermarket within 5 min drive was excellent and the Tyrone Mall had a wide variety of shops. Everyone we met was both helpful and friendly. The only downside to the visit was the lack of an any way half decent restaurant nearby. To say the food served in the restaurants we visited in both Johns Pass and on Gulf Blvd was bland in the extreme would be putting it mildly. A real let down particularly in an area which is famous for its wide variety of fish. If you want decent resturants with good food you have to go to St Petersberg (about 30 mins by car) which has a very European feel about it. There you will find a wide range of excellent resaurants (particularly the Indian Restaurant on Central Avenue) where they serve real food to a high standard. Also, there are a number of attractions such as the Dali Exhibition which are well worth a visit. All in all, an excellent vacation and will certainly consider the Villa Maderia again if we return to the area next year.

Condo was beautiful, right on the beach and very clean. A great location to walk to John's Pass and restaurants. Will definately stay there again next year.
